Need a Coffee Press for the Office?
The coffee at my office is terrible and I am considering buying a coffee press. Which one would you suggest I buy? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you in advance.
Most presses are fine. My personal preference is Bodum; their Chambord line is fantastic http://www.amazon.com/Bodum-1928-16US6-Chambord-Coffee-Press/dp/B00005LM0S and they're available in 3-12 cup sizes. They measure in 4oz cups so the 4-cup will make one 16oz cup.
The biggest problem will be having water that's hot enough. The 'hot' tap on a water cooler isn't hot enough, but if you can bring it to a boil with a kettle or microwave that will work.
Plastic is less fragile but will stain and retain flavors
Glass won't retain flavors and is easy to clean, but might break accidentally.

If you clean it properly, the same press you use for coffee also makes great loose-leaf tea as well.
