burr grinder
What are some good burr grinders under 50$?
Especially for a french press,so I don't care if it can't grind fine but it has to be able to grind coarse ground....any suggestions??
We have had a Capresso Burr grinder for about 10 years, and it was $49. I LOVE it. I just took a look on Amazon, and there are tons of them, none exactly like mine(since i have an older model), so I can't give an exact recommendation. Read the reviews, and take the good/bad with a grain of salt. The biggest thing with a Burr grinder is that depending on how it's set up, some models you might need to take apart more frequently to clean it out. This is normal, and not a "bad thing" That's just how it works.
We also use it for french press, and believe me.. you still want to mess with the grind. We don't like our coffee particularly "strong" but we still use a much smaller grind than usually recommended.
